Bonneville Communities that Care (CTC) is a coalition of both key leaders and community members from four cities in the Bonneville cone area that includes; Uintah, Washington Terrace, South Ogden and Riverdale. Individuals from government, law enforcement, education, local business, healthcare, volunteer and social service groups, youth-serving organizations, parents, and youth have come together to work toward their collective vision; to create a brighter future for both the community and the youth in this area.

This group will work at the local level to:

• Determine what are the biggest risks facing our youth daily in their lives that can lead to problem behaviors such as substance use and abuse, delinquency, violence and teen pregnancy.
• Determine what programs already exist in our community to address those risks and where there may be gaps.
• Find programs that have been shown to be tested and effective to fill those gaps.
• Write a formal work plan for our community to put those new programs into place by the Spring of 2012.
